We are delighted to announce that the outdoor pool will be opening on Saturday 25th July.
It will come as no surprise that the pool will not be able to operate as it has previously.

We will be offering 3 sessions per day

Please note our main reception number will not offer this as an extension choice nor will our Reception team be able to take swimming bookings.

In order to confirm your swim session we will need you name, booking/pitch number and number of people included in your swim booking.
Initially we will be limiting the number of sessions to 3 per week to ensure all guests get an opportunity to use this facility. We hope to increase this if capacity/ demand allows.
We kindly ask that all guests arrive within 15 minutes from the start of their session time or you booking will be regarded as cancelled.
We will require guests to arrive ‘beach ready’ as we are unable to offer designated changing facilities for this area.
Lifeguards will be on duty throughout your session however we must remind you that all children will need a parent or guardian to supervise and all bookings must include an adult over 18 within the party.
The use of inflatables will be at the discretion of the Lifeguard on duty but NO balls will be permitted with the pool or pool area.
All users must follow the one way system in place when entering and exiting the area and floor markings are in place throughout to assist with respectful social distancing whilst both in and out of the water.
There will be no glass, smoking or alcohol permitted within this area.
While it has not been easy to plan the changes required in order to be able to offer this facility we do hope that this will at least give all guests a chance to get back in the water.
Unfortunately the only thing we cannot plan for is the weather so we are keeping everything crossed that the sun shines for you all.
Once again we thank you for your incredible patience and understanding while we open this facility. No doubt it will go as smoothly as all other aspects of our reopening have so far, thanks to the consideration and respect all guests have shown not only to our staff but too each other.
We are so very grateful for the cooperation and support you have shown us during this difficult period
Now its time to hunt out those arm bands and dust off those swim suits!
**Covid-19 update 24/06/2020**
As I am sure you are all aware things at Home Farm will be a little different for the foreseeable future, but hopefully this information will give you some insight as to what will be available during your holiday.
The current ‘new normal’ is a unique experience for us all and we ask that you take a few minutes to read through the changes you can expect before you arrive.
There may need to be some ‘tweaks’ to our initial plans as we go but we ask for your patience and understanding while we try and find a happy balance between fantastic holidays along with staff and customer safety.
The opening hours for the following facilities will be:
Sunday – Thursday 9am – 6pm
Friday & Saturday 9am – 8pm
Please note we will not be taking telephone bookings due to the reduction in staff to ensure a safe working environment. There will be a dedicated answer phone service and customers wishing to book this way will be called back between 6pm and 8pm. Please book online where possible.
The Reception has a one-way system in place and numbers will be limited inside the building. Please allow for safe social distancing when queuing and use the hand sanitiser available when entering.
During peak times we will endeavor to have a member of staff outside to assist where possible.

Drinks purchased for take away or the outside seating area can be purchased from the outside serving window when this is open, alternatively you will need to order with your table number and your drinks will be brought to you.
Customers ordering food using the outside seating will again need to have a table number when ordering, alternatively customers ordering for take away can wait inside or out for collection.
Only one member from your household should be joining the queue and we ask that payments are made using contactless card where at all possible.
In line with employee safety guidance we will be trying where possible to reduce staff and customer contact and due to this we will initially only be serving food and drink using disposable cups, cutlery etc. We kindly ask that you make use of the bins located throughout the building and the outside seating area thereby reducing the contact staff need to have with used items.
Toilets will be available for use within the venue with hand sanitizer stations outside and also at the entry door of the building.
We again must insist that children are supervised in the Nite Owl and also if seated outside.
Unfortunately we are unable to provide any live music at this time due to Government restrictions but we are working hard to find ways to entertain you and your family within the constraints of the current guidelines.
The number of people permitted inside the venue will be limited and calculated in conjunction with the seating available. There will be no standing and no also no drinking at the bar.
The arcade will also be open during these times although machines available to use will be limited as will numbers in the area.
We are delighted to be allowed to open our toilet and shower facilities. We again ask that you use the hand sanistiser provided upon entry and adhere to social distancing guidelines while using these facilities.
We will also need to insist that children are accompanied while using these.
As always we will be continually cleaning these areas, staff will be wearing additional PPE, and we ask that you keep a safe distance from them while they work hard to ensure the highest possible standards of hygiene. Unfortunately it will not be possible to clean after each individual use.
We would recommend that you use your onboard facilities where possible.
It is with great sadness that we have to inform you our pools and gym facilities are unable to open at this point. This will remain unchanged until the Government inform us otherwise and then operating decisions will govern how we open.
We must ask that while enjoying your holiday you remain respectful of all government guidelines currently in place, including:
- Staying at home if you or any member of your party are feeling unwell or have any COVID 19 symtoms
- Not gathering in large groups anywhere on the park
- Allowing no more 6 people outside of your caravan at safe distance, while showing consideration for neighbours and other guests
Although this may seem like a long list of restrictions Somerset still has a lot to offer! I’m sure many of you are looking forward to sitting on the beach, walking in the countryside or barbequing outside your holiday home.
We are so very fortunate to be so close to beautiful towns and villages, Cheddar, Wells, Glastonbury to name a few, all of which can still be enjoyed by you and your family. Local visitor attractions will also be reopening giving you the choice of staying on site or enjoying days out to Animal Farm, Brean Fun Park or perhaps one of the many wildlife reserves on the Somerset Levels.
Thank you once again for your continued support and patience during what has been a most difficult time for everyone.
While we may not have had the start to the 2020 season we had all hoped for we still have many months to enjoy. We simply cannot wait to welcome you all back.
Updated:24th June 2020. Please note this guidance can be altered at any point.
