Dates for Your Diary – 2026 at Home Farm Holiday Park
These are the six 2026 dates we get asked about most on the phone – the ones our regulars book their stays around, and the only ones we’d pencil into your diary if you were stopping by reception asking.

Weston Beach Race 2026
Fri 16 – Sun 18 October 2026 | Marine Parade, Weston-super-Mare, BS23 1AL
Just up the coast – 15 minutes by car from us.

The Beach Race is the one we get the most “is it still on?” calls about each year, and yes – the weekend of 16th–18th October 2026 is the one. Weston’s seafront turns into a 7km sand course for over 1,300 riders across solo, quad, sidecar and buggy classes. Six races in total, a proper trade village, kids’ try-out zones, fair rides and the land train running the length of the beach.
How the weekend runs
- Friday – SXS demonstration and trade village (1pm–4pm)
- Saturday – 125/250, Vintage, Quads & Sidecar (9am–4pm), podium 4:30pm
- Sunday – 85cc, 65cc, Adult Solos (9am–4pm), podium 4:30pm
Stay with us: we’re a 15-minute drive from Weston seafront. A Touring Pitch, a Static Caravan or a hot-tub Glamping Pod is the cosy bit after a proper cold day on the sand.
Halloween at Home Farm
Thursday 29th October – Sunday 1st November 2026
Three nights of Nite Owl tributes and a bit of daft mischief.

This one’s ours and we love it. Three nights of spooky discos and the torch-lit pumpkin walk that the kids talk about from one year to the next. Toddler-safe stuff early on, a bit sillier and a bit louder once the grown-ups have had their first pint.
Showbar line-up
- Thu 29 Oct – Action Pussy Cat (family magic, games and dances), then So Taylor
- Fri 30 Oct – Forever Jackson Band, a high-energy tribute to the King of Pop
- Sat 31 Oct – Halloween Night – Mr Mayhem, The GaGa Odyssey (the Lady Gaga tribute you will not forget) and Encore Anthems to close it out
Stay with us: half-term nights go early – our hot-tub Glamping Pods are usually the first to sell out for this week. Touring pitches and Statics hold up a bit longer but don’t leave it to October.

Burnham-On-Sea Seafront Fireworks Display
Friday 6th November 2026 | Burnham-on-Sea Seafront

Burnham’s community fireworks display lights up the seafront on Friday 6th November 2026 – and for the first time ever, it’s moved to a Friday night.
Walk from the park – honestly
It’s about 50 minutes on foot from reception to the prom. You skip the parking snarl on the seafront and, more importantly, you skip trying to find your car again in the dark. We’ll keep the bar open late for when you come back.
Make a weekend of it: stay through Saturday for Bridgwater Carnival and Monday for our local carnival. Three nights of sparkle in one booking.
Know which date’s for you?
Reception will help you pick the right accommodation.

Saturday 7th November 2026 – Procession from 6pm | Bridgwater Town Centre

Bridgwater is the UK’s oldest carnival and one of the biggest illuminated processions in Europe. The carts are genuinely jaw-dropping – some the size of a small house, tens of thousands of bulbs each – and it’s only a short drive from us up the A38.
The weekend in brief
- Fri 6 Nov – Grand Fireworks Display at St Matthew’s Field (second firework option if the Burnham one clashes with your plans)
- Sat 7 Nov – Grand Illuminated Procession through Bridgwater town centre, from 6pm
Honest insider bit
Nothing prepares you for the first cart coming round the corner, so dress warm and bring earplugs for the very little ones – the squibbers at the end of the procession are properly loud. Free to watch from the streets; grandstand seats from £32 if you want the best view and somewhere to sit.
Stay with us: we’re a few miles from the route – a Glamping Pod with a hot tub, a Static Caravan or a Touring Pitch is a lovely warm landing after a cold night out.
Highbridge & Burnham-on-Sea Carnival 2026
Monday 9th November 2026 – Procession from 7pm | Highbridge & Burnham-on-Sea
Part of the West Country Carnival Circuit. Right on our doorstep.

This one’s our favourite of the year and we’ll admit we’re a bit biased – it sets up right at the end of our drive. On Monday 9th November 2026 from 7pm, the streets of Highbridge and Burnham-on-Sea fill with illuminated carts, marching bands, dancing troupes and what feels like half of Somerset wrapped in blankets and woolly hats.
Why we love it
It’s a proper community night. People who’ve lived here thirty years will tell you which clubs to watch for (ask around at the bar before you go). Street-party energy, and a friendliness you don’t always get at bigger events.
Stay with us: walk, grab a taxi or hop in the car – the procession starts near Tesco, which is just a 30 minutes walk from us. Come back to a cosy Glamping Pod with a hot tub, a Static Caravan or your Touring Pitch, a warming cuppa and bed.
Three-night carnival special: stay Friday to Monday for the Burnham fireworks, Bridgwater Carnival and our local one – one booking, three big nights.
New Year’s Party at Home Farm
Wednesday 30th December 2026 – Friday 1st January 2027
Three big nights of live entertainment to see in the New Year.

End the year in proper Home Farm style with three cracking nights of live entertainment in the Nite Owl. Magic and mischief for the little ones, timeless classics for the grown-ups, and a Motown icon to count us into 2027. Bring your glad rags. We’ll sort the fizz.
Wednesday 30th December
Krazy Kev – an all-round comedy show for children and parents, full of magic, mayhem and shenanigans. Followed by Union Gap (greatest hits of the 60s, 70s and 80s) and Decades (high-energy sets from the 1950s right through to modern pop).
Thursday 31st December – New Year’s Eve
Action Pussy Cat with a family show of magic, games and dances, followed by Highlights, a party band that’ll get everyone on their feet with timeless classics and modern hits right through midnight.
Friday 1st January
Start 2027 the right way with Twiglet’s children’s entertainment, and close the celebrations with Roy Carter – an iconic name on the Motown circuit, known for his work with many legendary soul acts.
Book early – really. Our New Year nights have sold out by late autumn every year since 2022. The ringside showbar tables go first, then the hot-tub Glamping Pods, then the Statics.

Everything You’ll Love About 2026
- Relaxation: heated indoor pool, gym, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room.
- Entertainment: over 290 live acts across the 2026 season.
- Family-Friendly: on-site dining, outdoor play areas and fun for all ages.
- Prime Location: steps from Burnham-on-Sea’s sandy beach and the Somerset countryside.
A few questions we get asked
Are these events suitable for young children?
Yes – all six are family-friendly. The two late carnivals normally wrap up around 9:30-10:00pm subject to any start delays, which is a stretch for under-5s, but the carts themselves are genuinely spectacular for little ones who can stay the distance.
How far in advance should we book?
For Halloween and New Year, six months is sensible. Our regulars often rebook as they leave. The November carnival nights usually have availability closer to the date but don’t bank on it – 2025 was tight.
Is the park dog-friendly during these events?
Yes on Touring Pitches and selected accommodation. Let us know when you book so we put you in the right spot – and please keep dogs away from the fireworks. They really don’t enjoy it.
Do you do short breaks for the carnival weekend?
Yes. Friday–Monday is a popular four-night combo that lets you catch the Burnham fireworks, the Bridgwater procession and our local carnival in one stay. Give us a ring and we’ll put a package together.
Is parking at the park included?
Yes, free parking for guests by your accommodation. For the Bridgwater carnival we’d genuinely recommend the park-and-walk from Sainsbury’s on Wylds Road rather than driving into the town centre.
Pop these dates in your diary – we’d love to see you.
A Touring Pitch, a cosy Glamping Pod with a hot tub or one of our Platinum Holiday Homes – reception will happily talk you through which suits you best. Give us a shout, we’re open 9am to 5pm, seven days.
